North Jakarta Residents Support a Safe and Conducive Environment

Residents of North Jakarta support the creation of a safe and conducive environment so they can run their activities as usual without fear.

Let's protect Jakarta, stay united, and work together

One of the residents from Tanjung Priok, Findy Yuliani (30) expressed her highest appreciation to the North Jakarta City Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimko) for quickly ensuring the situation is safe and conducive.

"Today I passed by Jalan Yos Sudarso and it was safe. Hopefully, there will be no more acts of anarchy," he expressed, Monday (9/1).

Workplaces Urged to Implement WFH as Protest Action

He also encourages the community, especially in North Jakarta, to work together to maintain a peaceful, safe, and orderly atmosphere.

"Let's protect Jakarta, stay united, and work together to solve the current problems," he stated.

One of the residents from Rorotan, Echa (38) explained, Cilincing Highway to Jalan Yos Sudarso is crowded, smooth, and has become passable for vehicles as usual.

"As a resident of North Jakarta, I would like to thank the government for acting quickly to ensure safety. May North Jakarta remain secure and its residents become more united," he explained.

Economy and Development Assistant for North Jakarta City Secretary, Wawan Budi Rohman, explained that on Sunday (8/31) morning, a simultaneous cleanup action was done in all areas of North Jakarta.

"Yesterday we moved quickly with all elements to clean Jalan Yos Sudarso, as it is also a main road to Tanjung Priok," he explained.

To clean the location, they deployed around 300 personnel assisted by army and police officers.

"Mutual cooperation is the key to restoring Jakarta. Jalan Yos Sudarso has returned to normal. We're always ready to protect Jakarta. Hopefully, there will be no more anarchistic actions that harm many people," he stated.
